The following table was extracted from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website, and lists those who died whilst serving with 56 Squadron during WW2 and are buried in a CWGC-registered grave.  The names link to the applicable CWGC webpage.  The aim of this page is to facilitate the finding of 56 Squadron war graves.  Most of the CWGC entries have not yet been separately confirmed, so errors may exist.  For example, Sgt CV Meeson is listed against "249 Sqdn"; however, he was in fact with 56 Squadron when he died in a training accident.  Over time, this list will be expanded to include those who served with 56 Squadron but died whilst serving with another unit.
